This project demonstrates how to connect to SharePoint on Office 365 using OutSystems.  This is the companion project for the article created by Chris Johnson located at:  https://kolaberate.com/Articles/2018/08/22/integrating-sharepoint-with-outsystems/


To use this project, make sure to update the client_id and client_secret Site Properties, with your own sharepoint add-in properties.

Hi Chris,

I have followed the steps described in "https://kolaberate.com/2018/08/22/integrating-sharepoint-with-outsystems/" from figure 1 to Figure 5 the only differences are the “App Domain” and the “Redirect Url” which I did not use “localhost”.
but I still got the error when I was trying to run the GetClient Api

HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized
Content-Type: application/xml;charset=utf-8
-2147024891, System.UnauthorizedAccessExceptionAccess denied. You do not have permission to perform this action or access this resource.

Do you have any idea where is the problem is?

Great explanation and project - just need to make sure to change all the correct values/variables.    There is a 'hard-coded' value in the "GetAccessToken" server action - this should be changed to a "site.domain" variable - instead of "kolaberate.sharepoint.com"
