Details

Utilities application for BPT Processes

This application allows you to:

Terminate active or suspended instances of BPT Processes
Delete all the logged information of instances of top level Processes that have terminated or closed before a given date.

Uses OutSystems Platform API:

User Provider: Service Center

WARNING: Terminating running instances can cause data corruption, depending on the Process logic. Use this application after evaluating if those instances can be safely terminated.

The Troubleshooting Processes page has been removed since the information it provided was the same as the Process List page. The Download of Troubleshooting Reports has been moved to the Process List page as well;

Nice component to delete bulk unwanted processes

Nice to be able to terminate processes in bulk. However, due to it being one screen action, terminate times out after a couple thousand and due to the caching the counts do not refresh in this case. We had a situation where we ended up with 80.000 active without error and 80.000 active with error and it was a pain to clean up.

This could be improved by specifying a max amount for terminsate processes in bulk, defaulting to 1000, just as for delete process history. Then we still would have to had clicked the terminte button 2 x 80 times, but at least we would not have looked up the progress in process explorer in between the clicks.
