Infrastructure Monitor is a LifeTime plugin that provides Developers and Operations a quick and simple infrastructure monitoring tool for platform servers. It will help you keep your infrastructure in check by surfacing key performance metrics of your servers and alert you when these metrics reach thresholds that may compromise the performance or stability of your environments.
Make sure to install this plugin in your LifeTime environment, which is recommended to be a dedicated environment. To separate monitoring data from LifeTime data, it is recommended to publish the plugin in a separate database catalog from the main platform catalog on the LifeTime environment. Make sure to create a new catalog/schema using the platform "Multiple Database Catalogs/Schemas" feature before publishing the plugin.
The plugin monitors platform servers from the LifeTime environment using WMI on Windows Server or SNMP on Linux. After publishing, some additional plugin and server configuration is required for monitoring to work. Check
this document
for more details on how to fully configure the plugin.
For the purpose of analyzing usage and evaluating future improvements/changes, when the plugin is published and when monitoring is enabled on environments, it will send some usage data to OutSystems (platform activation code, version and stack and plugin specific data). The data collected will only be used internally by OutSystems Experts.

It improves the way to deal with unfinished work and hidden features in production and helps to remove dependency friction as you scale to multiple teams.
