BPT Approval Flow - Sample Reactive Web App

Documentation
1.0.1

Sample app to demonstrate BPT capabilities of the OutSystems platform, for Reactive Web Applications.

It contains a 2-step approval process to submit, validate or reject an engagement between a Client and a Law Firm.

When the request is created, a word document is generated, and after the last approval step (signature pad), the process finishes by sending an email with the doc attached.

The application will create 3 users with the following usernames (using a timer that is scheduled to run after deployment):

  • "Peter Demo Smith" (creates the client request which is then submitted for approval)
  • "Legal Sample User" (user responsible for the 1st step of approval)
  • "Director Sample User" (user responsible for the 2nd step of approval)

OutSystems#2022 is the password for all users.

You can trigger the approval flow by login into the application and creating a new Client Request:

New Client Request screen

Client Request and the associated approval process.

Users with director role have the option to delete old processes and the associated activities and a button for a shortcut to Generate a new request:
