OutSystems Accelerators let you develop web and mobile apps faster. Each Accelerator contains screen building blocks that you can add to your apps and modify. Accelerators come bundled with your OutSystems 11 setup, and they're particularly useful when you need to develop a demo in no time.

You can find Accelerators in the widget toolbox, and recognize them by the following icon:

Most of the Accelerators that use the List widget have a matching details Screen Template. These templates have the same look and feel and they are connected to the same sample data. There are multiple industry use cases available to choose from.

How to use Accelerators

In Service Studio, open a Screen for editing and do the following to run an Accelerator:

1. Browse or search for Accelerators in the widgets toolbox. For example, search for Check Balance.
2. Drag and drop the Accelerator to your Screen.
3. Publish your app and preview the screen or page.
