How to use AD Import in your OutSystems infrastructure
Prerequisites
Before using AD Import in your applications, you need to do the following:
Your OutSystems Infrastructure must be in the same network or accessible via VPN of your AD.
Configure your AD in Users Applications.
Define in the AD the Groups and Users you want to import.
Step 1. Configure Domain in AD Imports
You can change the Domain directly inside the application, selecting the option Configure Domain and set the new Domain.
OR ,
you can go to the Service Center and set the Site Property domain.
Step 2. Configure Timer Schedule (Optional)
Define the schedule to run your time and keep your Groups and Users Synched with AD in the Service Center
Step 3. Create your OutSystems Groups and Bind with AD
Notice the AD Group will only be available if your AD Domain was configured properly.
Once you define the AD Group and the respective OutSystems Group you want to bind, click on Validate to check if there is OutSystems Users available before import them.
You can create a new OutSystems group directly into this screen, but delete or edit you groups you need to use the Users App.
Step 4. Run Timer
After your groups had been configured, click in Run Sync to perform the timer and synch all users properly.
